Police are appealing for information after a 14-year-old girl was knocked down in Carryduff.
The incident took place on the pedestrian crossing on the Ballynahinch Road on January 3, at around 5.05pm, when police say the teenager was knocked down by a dark vehicle.
It has been reported that the vehicle in question drove over the child's foot before driving away.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage of the area at the time to contact them.
They have said that the stretch of road is busy at that time of day and they are confident someone will have witnessed the incident.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has dash cam footage of a 14 year old girl being knocked down by a dark vehicle on the pedestrian crossing on the Ballynahinch Road, Carryduff on 3rd January 2023 at 1705 hours.
"The vehicle in question has driven over the child’s foot before driving away. This is a busy stretch of road at this time of day, and police are confident someone will have witnessed this. If you have any information please phone 101 quoting police reference number 1426 of 03/01/2023."
