Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to toy with Tottenham over Antonio Conte once they give Mauricio Pochettino the boot - but the French giants are still hoping to lure Zinedine Zidane to Paris.
Pochettino landed his first domestic title with PSG this week after they romped to the Ligue 1 title. However, the 50-year-old's relationship with the club's disgruntled fans is at breaking point after he slammed them for ruining this weekend's coronation and is expected to be sacked imminently.
It was claimed by Le Parisien (via GFFN ), that Conte is willing to replace Pochettino in Paris by penning a two-year deal. It's anticipated that Tottenham would seek to reappoint Pochettino if Conte does decide to walk out on the Londoners in the summer, with the report outlining that Pochettino has stayed in touch with Spurs supremo Daniel Levy.
And a new report from The Times has revealed that PSG are ready to consider appointing Conte once they dispense with the services of Pochettino - but Zidane remains their primary target.
The French icon - who is unemployed after his second stint at Real Madrid came to an end last year - is reportedly holding out to see if Didier Deschamps walks away from the French national team after the World Cup in Qatar later this year. But the report outlines that PSG are hopeful that their interest in Conte may flush out any interest Zidane has in taking the top job at the Parc des Princes instead of moving into international football.
Conte has only been at the helm in north London for six months, but he's endured a rocky relationship with Levy. The Italian has teased quitting Spurs on a number of occasions and went public with his concerns over a lack of backing from the club hierarchy.

Spurs appeased Conte by recruiting Dejan Kulusevski and Rodric Bentacur in the final knockings of the January transfer window, but it remains to be seen if the former Chelsea chief will see out the final season of the two-year agreement he inked back in November.
While Conte's future is unclear, it's a different story for Pochettino, who looks set to pay the ultimate price for his shortcomings in Europe. PSG were dumped out of the Champions League in the round of 16 by Real Madrid.
Pochettino's impending departure will cap a miserable couple of weeks for the ex-Spurs chief. Despite being heavily linked to the Manchester United job, the Argentine missed out on the role he's reportedly coveted for years to Erik ten Hag - and he now looks to be jobless heading into the summer.
