Not all intelligence is artificial
New AI firms seem to be popping up all over the place. Many will be a dud and fold in a year — but the ones with a well-known backer tend to show more promise.
That was why the creation of a mysterious new company called Proxxi AI caught Spy’s eye. It is being backed by serial entrepreneur Charlie Muirhead, who runs one of the UK’s biggest tech conferences, CogX.
Muirhead was a little coy about the project when Spy got hold of him, saying it was still in “stealth mode.”
But he said its aim was to create a platform to use AI to “access some of the best minds” in technology. A cerebral idea.
