Proverb of the day, 'If you take no risks, you will suffer no defeats. But if you take no risks, you win no victories' shows life often presents people with a choice between security, possibility, reveals psychology about risk-free life and failure

Proverb of the day by Richard M. Nixon, "If you take no risks, you will suffer no defeats. But if you take no risks, you win no victories" remains relevant because almost every meaningful achievement involves some degree of uncertainty. Whether someone is pursuing a career ambition, starting a business, entering a relationship, learning a new skill, or making a major personal change, there is rarely a guarantee of success. The willingness to accept uncertainty can therefore become an important part of growth.

The attraction of a risk-free life is easy to understand. Nobody enjoys failure, rejection, embarrassment, financial loss, or the feeling of discovering that an ambitious plan did not work. Avoiding risk can provide immediate comfort. A person who never applies for a challenging position cannot be rejected from it. Someone who never starts a business cannot experience the disappointment of a failed venture. An individual who never expresses an unpopular idea may avoid criticism. But avoiding every possibility of failure also eliminates many possibilities for achievement.
