Kate Smurthwaite and Dominique Samuels went head to head over whether or not people should be 'proud to be British' on Good Morning Britain (GMB).
GMB presenters Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley asked whether or not the public still says they are proud to be British following news the country is seen as an "embarrassment." The condition stems from the lack of control over Downing Street and the continuous turnover of Prime Ministers.
Kate Smurthwaite and Dominique Samuels were on hand to discuss the topic but things quickly became heated as the guests almost instantly attacked each other's stances. Kate said a lot of British pride was "forced" on people whilst the country "ripped away their natural resources".

As they debated, the conversation quickly escalated as both guests began speaking over one another. Kate Garraway eventually stepped in to give both women time to speak but at the end of their segment, the argument waged on as both continued to interrupt each other.
Kate revealed that only 24% of over 20,000 people polled said they were proud to be British.
