Protesters have assembled outside Israel's military headquarters to express their opposition to a potential ceasefire deal with Hezbollah. The group leading the protest, the Fighting for the North Forum, has voiced concerns about the implications of such an agreement.
The forum stated that they believe the proposed deal poses a significant threat to the security of Israel and the well-being of residents in the northern region. They argue that the agreement amounts to a surrender to the terrorist organization Hezbollah, rather than a genuine ceasefire.
According to the group, they fear that if the deal goes through, it could lead to a situation similar to the events of the seventh of October next year. They emphasized that their prolonged absence from home, spanning over 400 days, was not in support of such a concession.
The Fighting for the North Forum called upon Prime Minister Netanyahu to reconsider the potential agreement and prevent what they perceive as a destructive outcome. They urged for a more prudent approach that prioritizes the security and well-being of the nation.
