BATHINDA: After assurances of time-bound investigations into Behbal Kalan killings and cases of sacrilege and seeking three days to apprise them in how much time the probe will be completed by the special investigation team (SIT), the protesters ended the blockade of Bathinda-Amritsar national highway on late Wednesday night.
A team of lawyers from the office of Punjab Advocate General accompanied by Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association president Santokhwinder Singh Grewal made the assurances to deceased Krishan Bhagwan Singh’ son Sukhraj Singh, advocate Harpal Singh Khaara and some leaders of Dal Khalsa.
