Police are seeking the identity of an anti-vaccine protester who allegedly assaulted and fractured the wrists of a worker at EPIC earlier this year.
ACT Policing allege that on February 10 at Exhibition Park in Canberra, a 67-year-old woman was assaulted. The woman, who was a worker at a venue inside EPIC, sustained fractures to both her wrists, requiring surgery.
The man police would like to identify is aged in his 30s, about 190 centimetres tall, with dark hair and of a slim build.
Police believe the man attended EPIC as part of anti-vaccine mandate protests occurring at the time and may have travelled from Victoria.
While investigations into this matter have continued since February, ACT Policing released this information on Tuesday with the man expected to return to Canberra to participate in protests.
Anyone who can assist police with the identification of the man is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote 7033287.
