Prosecutors Reveal Unreadable Serial Number On Weapon Recovered From Suspect

In recently unsealed court documents, prosecutors revealed that the serial number on a rifle found in the vicinity where Ryan Wesley Routh was seen at Trump's golf club was described as 'unreadable to the naked eye.'

Routh is currently facing charges related to possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number. This means that when law enforcement recovered the weapon on Sunday, they encountered difficulty in deciphering its serial number.
