A prolific thief has been banned from a town centre after a string of offences. Justin Lamb, aged 23, was wanted by police after stealing large amounts of food from a supermarket in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, on the 11 and 13 January.
He also stole meat from another shop in Coppice Road, Arnold, on January 4, and took a mobile phone from a parked car in Hucknall on January 12. Lamb appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 8 where he pleaded guilty to five recent theft offences.
After admitting to the offences, he was jailed for 20 weeks. He was also made the subject of the Criminal Behaviour Order which will ban him from entering Hucknall for a period of two years.
