It’s a dog-eat-dog world in the SEC, and Saturday was evidence of that. The Red River Rivalry, where rankings are merely a suggestion and nothing more, produced yet another classic that saw a reeling Oklahoma team stun top-ranked Texas with a game-winning field goal in the final seconds.
And that wasn’t the only SEC game to come down to the wire. Kentucky’s Will Stein, a week after showing some serious cojones to go for two and the win in overtime against South Carolina, did it again, this time against No. 10 LSU. Then, the Bulldogs outlasted the Crimson Tide in a contest that saw the heavyweights each land sizable blows in their own way. Georgia may or may not have gotten one past the ref.
