Professor Jason Arday was victim of ‘public execution’, vigil hears

Professor Jason Arday was the victim of a “public execution”, his friend and peer Lord Simon Woolley told a vigil which was attended by thousands of people.

During his speech, Lord Woolley revealed his friend had said during a meal just days before he died, “they’re hounding me to death”, adding that he “couldn’t see a way out”.
