This week, respected mathematician and broadcaster Professor Hannah Fry appeared as a guest on the Table Manners podcast, hosted by Jessie and Lennie Ware.
As well as discussing food, work, family life and maths (of course), Prof Fry talked about cosmetic treatments and revealed the science-backed skincare products she turns to for glowing skin.
From a hi-tech LED face mask and Korean skincare to a vitamin C serum and hyaluronic acid, Prof Fry covered a range of beauty bases.
After Ware complimented the science guru on her hair, Prof Fry also divulged that she uses a Dyson airwrap to achieve her signature blow-out style.

CurrentBody LED face mask
Prof Fry revealed she uses a CurrentBody LED face mask, which is designed to tackle everything from fine lines and dullness to breakouts and redness. “Red light stuff, absolutely legit,” she told Jessie and Lennie Ware. “There are genuine peer-reviewed studies about this,” said Prof Fry, but she added that red light treatments only work at the right wave length and if you use your mask at least five times a week.

When it comes to brightening the skin, this is another of Prof Fry’s go-tos, and it’s easy to see why. Dyson airwrap
Prof Fry didn’t specify which airwrap model she uses. However, our beauty buffs have been impressed with all the airwrap models released over the years. When beauty writer Lucy Smith put the latest Dyson airwrap to the test, she was blown away. “Much like the airwrap id from 2024, the co-anda 2x works together with the MyDyson app (where you answer a few simple questions about your hair and your styling ability), which revolutionises hair styling,” said Lucy.
