A large range of products are being recalled. With issues ranging from containing harmful chemicals, small bits of plastic or even risks of electric shock both Trading Standards and the Food Standards Agency have recalled several products because of the risk they pose to the public.
If a product is recalled for any reason the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) and the Food Standards Agency share details on what you should do if you have bought the item as well as information on why the product is being pulled from shelves. If you have purchased any of these items you can return them for a full refund.

Counterfeit Gucci and Versace Metal Watches
These counterfeit Gucci watch is listed with model number YA163407 presents a serious risk to health as it contains 86800 mg / kg nickel, which exceeds the maximum permitted level. Nickel is a strong sensitiser and can cause allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin.
Wilkos is recalling this dog shampoo because of "potential quality issues"
In a statement the company said: "We have recently become aware of a potential quality issue with two batches of our Wilko Insecticidal Dog Flea Shampoo."

This lotion is being recalled because it may contain harmful chemicals
Kojic Clear Lotion with Papaya is being recalled t presents a serious chemical risk as following analysis the cream was found to contain 581 mg / kg (0.058% w / w) clobetasol propionate. Clobetasol propionate is a glucocorticoid (corticosteroid) which is prohibited in cosmetic products as exposure to it could cause skin irritation
Trading standards said in a statement: "We recommend owners stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress."

This LED floodlight is being withdrawn because there is a "high risk of electric shock"
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as its earthing arrangements are insufficient, which is not indicated in the product's instructions or safety information. If a fault were to occur after assembly, during use, the metal parts accessible to the consumer would become live and could cause an electric shock upon contact.
