Former Newcastle Knight Millie Elliott has had her premiership ring stolen, according to a post on the Rooster star's social media account.
In the post on her Instagram account, Elliott calls on her followers to look out for the number 8 ring.
"If you work at a pawn shop at Newy and someone comes in with a number 8 premiership ring to swap for cash, please let me know," she wrote in the post on Saturday.
"Because it's probably not theirs, they came into my house at night and stole it."
Elliott included a close-up shot of the missing item in her post, but the rings are easy to identify as they are engraved with the player's jersey number.
NSW Police said they were aware of reports that the ring had been stolen over the weekend and were looking into it.
It was Elliott's fourth premiership ring, adding to the ones she earned with Newcastle (2022) and the Brisbane Broncos (2019-20).
Elliott starred for the Roosters in their 32-28 premiership win against the Sharks on October 6, becoming the first player to win three NRLW titles with as many clubs. In 2022, she captained the Newcastle Knights in their premiership win over the Parramatta Eels, and in 2020, she was in the winning Brisbane Broncos side when they defeated the Roosters.
Elliott was contacted for comment.
