Pro-Ukrainian forces offer to hand over prisoners of war in new clashes on Russian side of border

The governor of Russia's Belgorod region has confirmed that fighting was ongoing on his side of the Ukraine border, with pro-Ukrainian forces having taken Russians prisoner during the clashes.

The governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said on Sunday he was ready for talks to retrieve "our guys" from the saboteur fighters who say they have taken Russian soldiers prisoner in the Belgorod region, about 40 kilometres north of the Ukraine border.
