An individual was arrested at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, for allegedly pushing the muzzle of an assault rifle through a chain-link fence near former President Donald Trump's golf course. The suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, has a history of pro-Ukraine advocacy, as reported by various news outlets.

Routh, known as a pro-Ukraine activist, has been involved in volunteering efforts in Ukraine to garner support for the nation's military endeavors. He has also been active in recruiting Afghan veterans who sought to fight in the conflict. In an interview with Semafor in March 2023, Routh expressed frustration with the Ukrainian government's bureaucratic hurdles in admitting foreign soldiers to participate in the war.

Furthermore, Routh has been vocal about his recruitment efforts for the International Legion Defense of Ukraine, an on-the-ground unit supporting the Ukrainian army. He emphasized the stark contrast between good and evil in the conflict, stating that the situation in Ukraine is a clear battle of good versus evil.

Routh claimed to have fought in the war and boasted about his involvement on social media platforms. He even authored a book titled 'Ukraine's Unwinnable War,' available on Amazon, where he stressed the importance of global support for Ukraine's victory.

On social media, an account purportedly belonging to Routh posted messages indicating his readiness to fly to Ukraine to combat Russian President Vladimir Putin. The posts called for a media campaign to rally global support for Ukraine.

Despite Routh's pro-Ukraine stance, former President Trump, during a debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, did not explicitly express support for Ukraine's triumph in the conflict but emphasized the need to negotiate a deal to end the conflict swiftly.

Background checks revealed that Routh has a history of encounters with law enforcement in North Carolina, involving various infractions such as possession charges and driving offenses.
