Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are said to be overjoyed after their recently born daughter was sent home after spending over one hundred days in hospital.
The 39-year-old actress and her 29-year-old husband became first time parents at the start of the year with the arrival of a daughter named Malti back in January.
The proud parents were able to take Malti home after she spent an extended stay in a neonatal intensive care unit in hospital due to undisclosed health issues.
But now the couple are said to be loving every minute of family life now they are all together in their family home after their daughter was released to them earlier this month.
A source close to the couple told Us Weekly: “Nick and Priyanka could not be happier to have their little girl at home with them.
“These past few months have been heart-wrenching but both parents did not give up hope and remained optimistic.”

Last weekend, while North America celebrated Mother’s Day, Priyanka shared an Instagram post in celebration of her daughter.
She wrote at the time: “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced.
“Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.
“Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you.”
Back in January it was revelled that Malti had arrived via surrogate 12 weeks earlier than expected.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time that the couple had been wanting to have a baby for "quite sometime" but added that their busy lives held them back.
The source explained: "Priyanka doesn't have any fertility issues preventing her from having a baby, but she is 39 now so it's not getting any easier,' the source said.
"Their busy work schedules also mean that it's difficult for them to physically be together to conceive when she is ovulating, so some time ago they went down the surrogacy route.
"This is the woman's fifth surrogacy. They met her and really liked her.
"The baby had been due in April but the surrogate ended up giving birth on Sunday, so she was very premature," the insider added.
The source added that Priyanka was working to get her filming done so she was ready for the baby in April, but filming times were rescheduled for her to meet her new baby at the time.
