'Prioritise the living over dead': Fury over plans to turn London allotments into graveyard

The only allotments in a southwest London neighbourhood are set to be turned into a graveyard, despite calls from residents to “prioritise the living over the dead”.

Richmond Council’s plans to extend Teddington Cemetery onto Shacklegate Lane allotments to meet urgent demand for more burial spaces have been recommended for approval.
