Catherine, Princess of Wales recently penned a touching letter about love and empathy for attendees of her 'Together At Christmas' carol service at Westminster Abbey and 15 regional services across the UK this month.

In her message, Kate expressed gratitude to guests for bringing comfort and hope to those in need, referring to the carol service as a heartfelt celebration. She emphasized the importance of vulnerability, empathy, and the role of love in connecting people during both joyful and challenging times.

The princess highlighted the Christmas story's message of turning to love over fear, particularly poignant given the personal challenges she and her family have faced this year following her cancer diagnosis.

The order of service for the event will include Kate's letter, and the front cover, designed by artist Charlie Mackesy, features an illustration of people embracing each other on their way to Westminster Abbey in the snow, accompanied by a thought-provoking question and answer about the power of companionship.

The service will feature readings from actors Sophie Okonedo, Michelle Dockery, and Richard E. Grant, as well as contributions from Prince of Wales and Olympic gold medalist Adam Peaty. Candles will be lit by individuals such as Lindsey Burrow, widow of rugby star Rob Burrow, and Paralympians Lizzi Jordan and Danni Khan.

The Westminster Abbey choir will perform carols, and musical guests including Olivia Dean, Gregory Porter, Paloma Faith, and pianist Rosey Chan will provide entertainment. The event will be attended by members of the royal family and 1,600 invited guests, including survivors of the Southport stabbing incident and their families.

Additionally, 15 regional services across the UK will echo the themes of the Westminster Abbey service, focusing on causes relevant to local communities and honoring volunteers. The Westminster Abbey event will be broadcast on UK television on Christmas Eve as part of a special program titled 'Royal Carols: Together At Christmas.'

Kate, who has been gradually resuming public engagements, recently joined Prince William in welcoming the Emir of Qatar during his state visit to the UK.
