Princess Charlotte's sweet moment with Mia Tindall as young royals attend Philip memorial

Some of the youngest members of the Royal Family paid tribute to their late great-grandfather Prince Philip at his memorial service today.

They included the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children Prince George and Princess Charlotte as well as Zara and Mike Tindall's oldest daughter Mia Tindall.

And once the service honouring Philip's life was over, Charlotte and Mia were seen enjoying a sweet moment together as they spotted each other in the Abbey.

As Charlotte left the service alongside her parents William and Kate, Zara could be seen pointing out the young princess to Mia, who was sat beside her.

And as they passed each other, Mia gave her younger relative a huge wave as they left the service.

Charlotte, Mia and their siblings have all been pictured together at events in the past with Prince William seemingly having a close relationship with his cousin Zara.

However, it wasn't the only cute moment that Charlotte had at the ceremony today - she was also spotted smiling at her dad's cousin Princess Beatrice, who sat behind the Cambridge family in the Abbey.

As Charlotte gazed around the huge building as the congregation sang a hymn, the young princess caught the eye of Beatrice.

The pair then exchanged cute smiles before they went back to joining in with the hymn.

The young royals were led at the service by the Queen, who arrived at Westminster Abbey arm-in-arm with her son Prince Andrew to pay a final tribute to her beloved husband Prince Philip, despite concerns she wouldn't be able to attend for health reasons.

Dressed in a dark green coat, the Queen used a walking stick as she took her seat in the front row of the packed abbey, next to Prince Charles and Camilla.

The Queen only made the final decision to attend this morning and special arrangements were put in place for her comfort.

The service was limited to 40 minutes and the monarch sat in one of the Canada chairs but with an additional cushion.

Among the other royals there were the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn.

Others attending were the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Peter Phillips and his daughters Savannah and Isla.

Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the Duke of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester made up the rest of the royal attendees.
