Princess Charlotte has wished the Lionesses luck in a sweet video message ahead of the final of the Euros as the nation rallies behind the England team.
Hours before the Euro 2022 decider against Germany, keen footballer Princess Charlotte appeared with her dad Prince William to cheer the team on.
In an endearing video message, Prince William said: "We both want to wish the Lionesses the best of luck for tonight. You've done amazingly well in the competition and we're rooting for you all the way."
Princess Charlotte adds: "Good luck, I hope you win, bye," and waves to the camera.
England men's team captain Harry Kane has also rallied behind the team with messages of support from Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who thanked the team for creating "a summer of fantastic memories for millions".
England have scored an astounding 20 goals and conceded just one in five games on their way to Wembley.
They smashed Sweden 4-0 in the semi last week, with Manchester United star Alessia Russo's cheeky backheel the pick of the bunch.
The Euros final is expected to draw the biggest home TV audience on record for a women's football match, with a packed Wembley Stadium and millions more watching around the nation.
As head of the Football Association the Duke of Cambridge will be cheering on the Lionesses tonight from the Royal box and it is rumoured little Charlotte could join him.
On a recent trip to the England training camp he revealed seven-year-old Charlotte is a keen football who loves playing in goal.
He told the team: "Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she’s really good in goal.
“She said, ‘please tell them that.’ Budding star for the future.”
Royal fans urged William to take Charlotte to the final, with one writing: "It would be great if Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge would take Princess Charlotte to watch the match and support the #Lionesses."
While another said: "Congratulations to the lionesses on making it to the Euro final at Wembley stadium on July 31st. Hopefully, Prince William along with the Cambridge children will be there."
It's unknown if Kate will join her husband at the game as she is due to be at a sailing event in Plymouth on Sunday alongside Sir Ben Ainslie.
It has also not been confirmed if nine-year-old Prince George will be at Wembley for the match either - although he did take in the men's Euro final when England suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Italy last July.
In a video posted on Twitter, the men's England captain Kane said: "Hi Lionesses, I just wanted to wish you all the best for today's game against Germany.
"It's going to be an incredible experience, incredible atmosphere at Wembley.
"I can't wait to be there myself, so I'm wishing you all the best.
"Good luck, go get that win, the whole country's behind you.
Kane captained England to the final of Euro 2020, narrowly missing out to Italy after a heartbreaking penalty shootout.
Lionesses legend Alex Scott said the team have "made the nation proud" and praised them for "raising the bar" as messages of support flooded social media.
In a letter addressed to manager Sarina Wiegman, captain Leah Williamson and the England team, outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson also wished the side "all the very best of luck" in the final "on behalf of the whole country".
He said: "Your passion for the game, your tenacity in tricky spots and above all your astounding talent on the pitch have already created a summer of fantastic memories for millions of us.
"You can see it in the sold-out stadia, in the packed fan zones, in the small children dancing wildly to Sweet Caroline and the TV viewing figures that have seen records crumbling almost as comprehensively as Sweden's defence did in the semi-final.
"In any pride it is the lionesses who ruthlessly hunt as a team and bring their prize back home, and I am sure that will be the case against Germany.
"But whatever happens at Wembley this evening, I know that, come tomorrow morning, the pitches and playgrounds and parks of this country will be filled as never before with girls and women who know beyond any shadow of a doubt that football is not just for boys - it really is for anyone.
"That is all down to you and what you have already achieved. And so, when the referee's whistle blows tonight, I hope that you are every bit as proud of yourselves as England is of you.
"Good luck to you all!"
Meanwhile, Labour leader Sir Keir, who watched England's 4-0 win over Sweden on Tuesday, said his daughter was among those inspired by the team.
He said: "As a parent, I know how vital it is to see strong, successful role models in sport.
"What you and your team have accomplished this summer will not just be celebrated as a great moment for English football but as one that encouraged and inspired young women like my own daughter."
Hoping to bring back the Championship silverware for the first time, the Lionesses are the underdogs against their eight-time Euro winning opponent, but will have huge support from the home crowd.
Some 90,000 fans are due to fill Wembley Stadium - with many hoping to watch the Lionesses secure the first major tournament title for any England team since 1966 - while millions more watch from homes, pubs and fan zones.
The record number of UK viewers for a women's game is nine million, which was set during England's semi-final defeat by the United States in the 2019 World Cup, according to the ratings organisation Barb.
Ahead of the 5pm kick-off on Sunday, an all-female RAF flypast will take to the skies over the north-west London arena.
Flanked by two Typhoon fighter jets, a C-130 Hercules transport aircraft will be crewed by three women.
For those watching at Wembley, the main road up to the stadium will be a no-drinking zone due to the chaos which overshadowed last year's men's Euro 2020 final.
Thousands of ticketless fans forced their way into the stadium ahead of England v Italy in summer 2021 - although this year's women's final is expected to attract a different audience.
