Princess Beatrice was in high spirits and joked with photographers as she arrived at Royal Ascot.
Turning up alongside her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at the Berkshire race course she looked glamorous as she walked through the gates with the other punters.
Beatrice chose a gorgeous summery floral dress for the occasion, which she teamed with an elegant hat, a sophisticated belt and a clutch bag bearing her initials BY - Beatrice York.
But some royal fans have noticed she was also wearing a name tag attached to her dress - as is customary at Royal Ascot, and this year it looked very different to the name she had on the badge in previous years.
This is because the badge read HRH Princess Beatrice, Mrs Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, reflecting she tied the knot with husband Edo in July 2020.
And after being surrounded by photographers, Beatrice joked: “I’ll be here all day,” reported Hello!
Sadly, the Queen was a notable absentee from racing after having pulled out.
The 96-year-old monarch has suffered with ongoing mobility issues in recent months, and it marks the first time she has been absent from the annual horse racing event since she ascended the throne in 1952 - except for when it was held privately in 2020 due to Covid.
Increasingly she has had to reduce her appearances at events, particularly since health scares last year.
At the Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier this month she was forced to pick and choose the occasions with the priority of not doing too much.
In the end she was at two events while other senior royals, in particular Charles and William, stepped in to replace her.
It is believed that the Queen was watching the races from home, with her horse King's Lynn racing in the King's Stand Stakes at 3.40pm, reported OK!
Her granddaughter, Princess Beatrice, 33, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, looked fantastic as she stepped out with the semi-sheer white dress with flower motifs, cinched it in at the waist with a tan belt.
Her husband of two years, Eduardo, matched his wife by pairing a pink tie with his three-piece suit, and wore a top hat atop his brown locks.
Beatrice married her Italian husband in a private ceremony at All Saints Chapel, Windsor Great Park.
The Queen, the late Duke of Edinburgh, and Prince Andrew, 62, were among the guests at the small wedding which was attended by just 20 guests as it took place during the pandemic.
Beatrice gave birth to their daughter Sienna, her first child and Eduardo's second, in September 2021.
