The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children were among the stars of the show as millions of people around the world watched King Charles and Queen Camilla crowned at yesterday's Coronation.
William and Kate arrived at Westminster Abbey wearing stunning formal robes, with Kate paying a subtle tribute to Princess Diana and the late Queen with her jewellery choices. Princess Charlotte was a mini-me version of her mum, wearing a similar leaf embroidery headpiece and ivory dress, while Prince Louis kept viewers at home amused with his fidgeting during the ceremony.
After the day's celebrations had come to an end with an appearance by the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony, William and Kate shared a heartwarming glimpse behind the scenes of the preparation that went into the day. A short video shared on the pair's Instagram page showed them leaving their home dressed in their Coronation outfits, as the parents ushered eight-year-old Charlotte and five-year-old Louis into the car that was waiting for them.

The sweet clip shows Charlotte gasping in delight as she sees the car, while William and Kate hold up their royal robes to stop them trailing on the wet ground as they make their way down the steps. Their eldest son George was absent from the scenes, having played a key role in his grandfather's Coronation as a Page of Honour.
The video then goes on to show some key moments of the day, including the family's carriage ride to Buckingham Palace following the Coronation ceremony and their appearance on the balcony. And royal fans were blown away by the touching glimpse into the historic day.
"Love those intimate scenes at the beginning. Almost like any other parents with their children, rushing to a family gathering," one person said on Instagram.
"I love this!" another royal fan commented. "You all looked marvellous and the children were fantastic. Such a beautiful moment in history! Bravo!"
And a third praised: "What an amazing video! I've been watching a lot of videos today and this one gave me goosebumps!"
