Reports have emerged that Princess Diana's childhood home will be inherited by a little known cousin of Prince William and Harry, rather than the brothers themselves.
A Spencer family tradition where the oldest males are the ones to inherit estates mean that the sprawling pad will, in fact, go to a 27-year-old actor named Louis Spencer.
The Mirror reports how Diana's brother Charles has four children, and Louis, the youngest, was just a toddler when Diana died in a Paris car crash.

Now, the actor viscount described as a very private person is set to inherit the whopping 13,500-acre Althorp estate in Northamptonshire where Princess Diana is buried.
According to the Telegraph, a source close to Louis said: "He’s super private and gets on quietly with his thing. He’s a very talented actor and, I think, will be a brilliant one. You’d like him. He’s very low-key and genuine, decent and kind – and tall."
His eldest sister Lady Kitty Spencer, 30, who is a socialite and a model, spoke about the tradition called male primogeniture: "Primogeniture can be a tricky topic, because as times are changing, attitudes are as well. We've grown up understanding that it's Louis to inherit, and Louis will do an incredible job."
Louis grew up alongside his sisters in Cape Town and moved to the UK to study at the University of Edinburgh. He's the youngest child of Earl Spencer and his first wife Victoria who are now divorced.
Jonathan Shalit, chairman of the InterTalent agency, said of Louis: "In terms of judging his potential there’s what he looks like and his family name. The Americans will love him, in particular. He'll get some good roles from his name alone. And he's good looking."
Louis will inherit Grade I listed stately home Althorp House and the earldom and he has reportedly already started attending trustees' meetings.
Princess Diana's brother, the current Earl Spencer, said he was happy with the tradition in 2015: "I would be totally relaxed about Kitty inheriting it, but... if I chose Kitty it would be against all the tradition that goes with Althorp."
