To mark Prince Louis's fourth birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released four wonderful new photographs of their youngest son playing on a beach in Norfolk.
In keeping with the family's tradition, the sweet pictures were taken by proud mum Kate earlier this month.
The new images have been warmly received by royal fans who have taken to social media to share their joy and wish the prince a very happy birthday.
One user wrote: "He is such a handsome and happy little boy. I hope Prince Louis is having a beautiful day. I love those pictures so much"
While another praised The Duchess of Cambridge, saying: "Thank you Duchess for capturing these very intimate photographs of your children.
Another fan wrote: "There is magic in each one and tell a lot about that specific child. It's such a lovely gift you give to your country and the rest of us who adore you! Louis is beyond adorable. Happy Birthday!"
A final user quipped: "Aw I love these pictures! Look at his big smile. I hope he is having a super fun day surrounded by his loved ones."
As well as messages from well-wishers, many fans have pointed out Prince Louis's incredible likeness to his mother and her side of the family.
One user said: "Prince Louis has definitely inherited some gorgeous genes from his mummy, the stunning Duchess of Cambridge!"
The prince's resemblance to his grandfather, Michael Middleton was also spoken about by many, while other fans argued that Louis is starting to look more like his father, Prince William.
Royal fans have long said that Prince George and Princess Charlotte closely resemble the Windsor side of the family, whereas Prince Louis appears to have inherited his looks from the Middleton side.
In fact, during a visit to Bradford in 2020 Prince William was examining a cake and struggled to tell a picture of himself from 1992 apart from his daughter.
The similarity between the pair had William doing a double take as he said to Kate: "Is that me? Doesn't it look like Charlotte?"
The Duchess of Cambridge came over for a closer look and agreed saying: "It looks so much like Charlotte."
William then repeated his previous statement, adding: "Is that me? That looks just like Charlotte. That's incredible, I haven't seen that before. Very alike in similarity."
