Prince Harry could be welcomed back into the Royal Family with open arms, according to one royal expert.
But the one condition would be that he returned without Meghan Markle.
The couple caused problems with other members of the Royal family after they made bombshell allegations in an interview with Oprah Winfrey and they caused further drama when the pair discussed life as royals in a Netflix documentary, reports the Scottish Daily Express.
Earlier this year, the Duke of Sussex caused panic among his family after he released his tell-all memoir Spare, in which he detailed a long-running feud with his brother Prince William and alleged the pair were involved in a physical altercation.
Prince Harry has faced rumours that he and Meghan's relationship is in tatters recently, and some so-called royal experts have even claimed he could be relocating back to the UK.
Now, another respected royal commentator has claimed that if the pair do end their relationship, Prince Harry would be welcomed back into the fold as he is still a member of the family.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK! magazine: "I think that Harry, without Meghan, would be forgiven and welcomed back into the royal fold in the fullness of time. But it is still unlikely at the moment.
"If the marriage broke down and he came back, I think there is still enough goodwill towards Harry, well, to the old Harry that we all remember.
"He could recoup the ground he's lost and in time and be welcomed back. But I don't think it's anywhere on the horizon and I don't imagine he would be anywhere near as despised as Prince Andrew is."
Previously we reported that Meghan has been branded a “low-grade reality star” as a US journalist claims the Duchess of Sussex regularly heads out in LA and leaves Harry at home with the kids.
Last month it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan had stepped out near their home for a celebrity-laden dinner with Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow, and other well-kent neighbours nearby include the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Ellen De Generes.
It’s led to one US podcaster slamming the former Suits actress for “trying to get places” by schmoozing big names.
In his latest podcast, Tim Dillon also slammed Harry and Meghan as being “low grade reality stars”.
He added: “All they want to do is hang out with celebrities.
“I was at a party the other night talking to somebody about these people and it’s just constant with them.
“She was texting the person I was with there.
“The point is they just won’t stop these two.
“They’re like low-grade reality stars trying to attach to anything.
“I’m literally at the party and they are showing me texts of this woman begging people to like ‘hang out’, she is trying to get places.”
Earlier this month, US society journalist Petronella Wyatt claimed that Meghan has become a bit of a regular on the Hollywood party scene of late, but without Harry.
She tweeted: “Friends of mine who live near them are always bumping into Meghan at parties these days.
“She tends to leave Harry at home.”
The couple's relationship has attracted an array of media attention in recent weeks after it was claimed that they were going through a rocky time.
It's been alleged that the Duke of Sussex has a room in a hotel in California he stays at to get away from his family, however this has been furiously denied by spokespeople for the couple.
