Prince Harry working on solution to enable UK visit with family can ‘proceed safely’

  • Harry's spokesperson clarified that the core issue is the provision of appropriate and proportionate protective security throughout the entire visit, not accommodation, despite King Charles offering a royal residence. “The duke continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK,” they said.
  • The family is not expected to receive taxpayer-funded protection outside of royal residences, and Harry has been involved in a protracted legal battle with the Home Office regarding his security arrangements since 2020.
