Prince Harry might have felt uncomfortable at his father's Coronation on Saturday but he did a great job of hiding it on the outside.
There were rumours that many of Harry's family members did not want to speak with him but he was seen happily gabbing away to lots of them. However, according to a body language expert, Harry seemed like he 'wanted to talk' to people but they didn't always want to 'engage' back with him, the Mirror reports.
The Duke of Sussex attended the historical ceremony without Meghan Markle who decided to stay at home in Montecito with their two children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie on his fourth birthday which fell on the same day as the crowning.
Meghan reportedly wanted to "minimise the drama" and felt that attending the event would have been "inauthentic" of her although her pal Omid Scobie claims the real reason the Duchess didn't attend was because she didn't feel "welcome enough".
While his family remained in the US, Harry made a fleeting 28-hour visit to the UK for the ceremony in Westminster Abbey on May 6.
The Duke arrived at the Abbey with Princess Eugenie and Beatrice and their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, who all seemed delighted to greet their cousin.
Communication expert Louis Mahler told Sunrise Australia: "Prince Harry arriving, I think we got our first glimpse of Harry for years. He was the old Harry, coming in smiling, laughing - walking tall and looking magnificent.
"The fact that he was on his own was a benefit, but his issue was he thought he could look at people and speak to them, and they would speak back to him, but it didn’t work.
"It would’ve been better if he just looked and smiled, but he focused in on people wanting a conversation - but they didn't [engage] and that must’ve been difficult for him."
Harry was seen jokingly mimicking Eugenie's heavily pregnant appearance upon his arrival, getting some laughs from his cousin and her hubby as he grinned and used two hands to cup widely under his stomach.
Harry walked down to his seat between the two couples and greeted various people along the way by saying "hello", "morning" and "nice to see you".
A lip reader also believes he said "look at that" while noticing the magnificent decorations put in place for the occasion and said "delightful".
He also appeared to say "good luck" to the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby who famously presided over his wedding to Meghan.
Harry was seated in the third row beside Eugenie's husband Jack and Princess Alexandra, a cousin of the late Queen, who hadn't had a working royal engagement in a decade.
Body language expert Judi James told the Mirror that viewers of the monumental event witnessed "an incredible return of the joker prince".
Judi said: "Harry arrived with the Sussex posse, the royal cousins Beatrice and Eugenie and their husbands, who have remained friends throughout the royal rifts.
"Chatting first to Edo he then got the attention of Eugenie and Jack and we saw an incredible return of the joker prince as Harry grinned and used two hands cupped widely under his stomach to do what looked like a mime of Eugenie's heavily-pregnant state.
"After making the couple laugh, Harry fell back to walk in alone. Still smiling and with his cheeks rounded, he then proceeded to perform a display of what looked like rather cocky bravado.
"His striding walk looked jaunty as he pushed one side of his jacket away before making his way up the aisle nodding, grinning, using eye-brow flash rituals and chatting with people in the congregation as though signalling to the world that he was upbeat, confident and happy to be back."
