The Duke of Sussex reportedly told King Charles to be buy his daughter a "less extravagant" gift on her second birthday. Prince Harry is said to have "warned" the King about the gift, which was intended to be something the youngster could use forever and be the "ultimate surprise".
According to OK Magazine, a source explained that the King had "his aides looking at custom-made cubby houses, similar to what the queen and Princess Margaret had when they were girls.” But it's not clear as to whether Charles listened to his son's wishes, or went all out for his young granddaughter, reports the Mirror.
The insider added: “He wants to give Lili something she will use and be hers. She’ll remember it forever – it’s going to be the ultimate surprise.” Royal family sources have remained tight-lipped about Lili's party, although Harry’s lawyer pointed out in court on Monday that he was unavailable to testify that day after taking a later flight from LA in order to celebrate his daughter’s birthday.
