Prince Harry's three 'giveaway signals' reveal true feelings about eviction, claims expert

After moving to the US, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle had said Frogmore Cottage would remain their base for when they visited the UK.

But the Royal Family had other plans as the Palace has confirmed they have been asked to vacate the property.

On Tuesday night, shortly after the news of the eviction, the couple was seen smiling wide to photographers as they visited the San Vicente Bungalows in Los Angeles.

Analysing the footage of their appearance, body language expert Judi James was able to identify some of their potential emotions and patterns of the couple's behaviour related to the eviction.

Ms James points out specific body language cues that Harry and Meghan exhibit that suggest a desire to hide or protect themselves as they entered the lavish £3,500-a-year private club.

Specifically, the expert said that Harry displayed three signals that suggest a desire to hide or protect himself in response to the eviction news.

The first was that his jacket collar is turned up. This, according to Ms James, indicates a desire to protect his neck or hide his face.

Secondly, Prince Harry appears to be hiking his pants and fiddling with his clothing. The expert said that this is a self-pacifying gesture that suggests anxiety or discomfort.

Finally, according to Ms James, the fact that Harry shoves his left hand so hard into his jeans pockets that the knuckles turn white is another self-pacifying gesture that suggests anxiety or discomfort.

These signals suggest that Harry is feeling vulnerable and wants to protect himself from the situation, Ms James said, and added that they also indicate that he may be experiencing anxiety or discomfort in response to the eviction news.

Ms James said: "His behaviour suggests some anxiety and a desire to protect as he hops about, rounding his group up like a sheepdog and ushering them into the venue."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's smiles and laughter appear to be a "deliberate projection" and not genuine expressions of happiness in response to the eviction news, according to Ms James.

The body language expert suggested that their smiles seem like "over-kill rituals rather than grins prompted by authentic happiness".

On Meghan's side, her underlying signals suggest that she is in a "vulnerable" mode, while Harry's signals indicate underlying tension, according to the expert.

Finally, Harry and Meghan's body language indicates a deliberate effort to put on a "performance" in response to the eviction news, the expert said.

She explains that even though Harry and Meghan may be rich and famous, receiving an eviction notice would still be hurtful, and claimed that their smiles and laughter appear to be over-exaggerated and not genuine expressions of happiness.

Ms James said: "It can be a tough enough call when your parents re-decorate your bedroom after you first leave home, so an eviction notice has got to sting no matter how rich, famous and grown-up you are.

"Harry and Meghan’s response here seems to be a deliberate projection of non-verbal 'shrugging' i.e. smiling widely and laughing in the face of the recent Frogmore news."

Despite their attempts to shrug off the situation, their underlying signals seem to reveal a more vulnerable and tense state.
