Prince Harry "likely has an arrangement" with a major fashion brand claims a celebrity stylist, after he was spotted wearing a designer shirt.
The Duke of Sussex stepped out in a high fashion brand during his surprise visit to the UK last week, as he attended a High Court Hearing in his claim against Associated Newspapers over allegations of unlawful information-gathering.
Harry gave a subtle nod to his wife Meghan Markle as he opted to wear a Christian Dior shirt for the trip, one of Meghan's favourite high-fashion labels.
Royal fashion expert Miranda Holder has said his fashion choice suggests i's "highly likely" that Harry has a sponsorship deal with the brand as he takes his fashion in a "new direction".
She said the Prince usually "prefers a more casual style", especially since he moved to California with his wife in 2020 after walking away from royal life in the UK.
Miranda said people are used to seeing Harry in T-shirts or checked shirts with "a preppy blazer thrown on if he needs to take things up a notch."
However, she said there are occasions when more formal clothing is necessary.
"A suit was a natural choice for Harry's court appearance, but opting for super brand Dior was a sartorial curveball for Harry.
"The designer could be perceived by many as too flash for his normally understated personal style," Miranda told Newsweek.
She added: "Designer sponsorship deals with celebrities are commonplace, and it is highly likely that the Sussexes have an arrangement with Dior; it would be a highly convenient passive income for Harry and Meghan."
She also said the couple would "make ideal ambassadors for the brand."
Harry and Meghan have made deals with Spotify and Netflix which reportedly saw them make £109million ($135million).
It is understood the duke and duchess also clinched four-book deal with Penguin Random House for £16million, according to the MailOnline.
The Duke of Sussex is also reported to have made £16million ($20million) from his debut memoir Spare and has donated £1.2million ($1.5million) of the proceeds to charity.
