Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Reported Apology to William and Kate Is Denied as 'Nonsense'

A source close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has dismissed a report that they planned to apologise to Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, describing the claim as 'nonsense'. The denial concerns a specific reported apology plan, rather than ruling out the possibility of reconciliation between the couples.

People reported the denial on 7 October after the Daily Express claimed the previous day that the Sussexes were considering an apology over comments made during their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. The response came from an unnamed source, not a public statement issued by Harry and Meghan themselves.
