Prince Harry and Meghan Markle send instant message with opening of Netflix docuseries

It's probably one of Netflix's most anticipated series ever and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's docuseries has finally dropped. The streaming giant released the first volume of the series, entitled Harry & Meghan, on Thursday, December 8, at 8am. It comes three months after Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II died.

Billed as a 'Netflix Global Event', the docuseries vows to tell the couple's own version of their story from the beginnings of their relationship to the "challenges and controversies that prompted them to step back from the royal family". Up until now, fans had seen two, two-minute trailers of the 'unprecedented and in-depth' show.

While the first volume contains three hour-long episodes, the series is actually in six parts with the next three episodes - Volume 2 - being released in a week's time on Thursday, December 15.
