Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seen enjoying date night at acoustic star's gig

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted enjoying drinks and dancing at an acoustic star’s gig.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were at the Santa Barbara Bowl in California to see Jack Johnson perform.

Harry was snapped wrapping his arms around Meghan's waist while listening to the Hawaiian singer, in images obtained by TMZ.

Meghan, 41, arrived at 8pm and Harry, 38, joined her about an hour later.

The couple watched the show from a special section with about 10 other people.

Ahead of the gig, the couple posed for photos backstage at a show with Hawaiian singer-songwriter and former American Idol contestant Paula Fuga.

Paula took to Instagram to share the snaps, which show her in between Harry and Meghan and the rest of her backing band.

Smiling for the camera, Meghan wore what appeared to be a navy jumpsuit with her long hair pulled up into a ponytail.

Meanwhile, Harry paired a navy long-sleeved top with a pair of dark-coloured jeans and tan shoes.

The couple's date night comes just weeks after they returned to their home in California following the death of Harry's grandmother the Queen.

During their time in the UK, they were reunited with their royal relatives recently and even joined Prince William and wife Kate for a walkabout in Windsor in the days after the Queen's death to view floral tributes and meet well-wishers.

However, now they've returned to California, attention have turned to what might be included in Harry's upcoming memoir and his and Meghan's reported new Netflix documentary show.

And now royal expert Duncan Larcombe has said it's now the time for Harry and Meghan to decide whether they want to be in or out.

He told OK! magazine : "Charles, Camilla, William and Kate are entering a new era of the institution. It's up to Harry and Meghan whether they want all or nothing.

"When William and Kate became the Prince and Princess of Wales, one of their first jobs was to reach out to Meghan and Harry, and Charles explicitly affirmed their relationship in his speech, no matter what has been said and done.

"In my opinion, it's only Meghan and Harry who can decide what they want. Do they want to forgive and forget, creating unity with the royal family? Or do they want a wholly separated life in California? They cannot have both."

Duncan's comments came as Harry and Meghan released two brand new portraits of themselves taken last month.
