Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be 'gunning for billionaire status' after earning 'more money than they know what to do with' from their recent projects.
The couple, who stepped back from their Royal roles in 2020, seem to be reaping the benefits of a sell-out memoir, multimillion-dollar podcast deals and a hit-global series on Netflix, writes The Mirror.
According to an insider close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the pair "suddenly have hundreds of millions of dollars at their disposal".
According to sources, there's no slowing down for them and things are full steam ahead after the pair hired top showbiz dealmaker Adam Lilling amid "plans to be next-level rich".
The inside explained: "Harry and Meghan know they’re hot stuff right now and are eager to cash in. They’re gunning for billionaire status and willing to go all-out to achieve that."
In 2020, Harry and Meghan relocated to the US and purchased a $15million (£12.3m) mansion right next door to their friend Ellen DeGeneres in Montecito, California.
"Their savings are beyond their wildest dreams," claims the source, per Heat. "They have more money than they know what to do with – which is why they’ve hired someone to help."
Harry and Meghan, who were recently mocked on US comedy show South Park, reportedly hired Adam after being introduced by Ellen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, he's one of Hollywood's top dealmakers and is thought to have been brought in to help the couple in the US.
One expert told The Mirror that there is already "appetite for the Duke and Duchess" in the US, and Adam is thought to be boosting their 'brand'.
'PR to the stars' Mayah Riaz claimed: "It would be naïve to not expect Harry and Meghan to make a commercial move post their Netflix series and Spare.
The new insider claims: "There will be plenty of projects for Adam to negotiate. With new book deals in the pipeline and movie cameos – they're open to anything."
Harry and Meghan's representatives have been contacted for comment.
