Prince George sparks concern among Royal Family fans over 'cruel' treatment at Wimbledon

Royal Family fans were up in arms yesterday after they tuned into Wimbledon and saw Prince George in the crowd. The future King was sitting alongside his mum Kate Middleton and dad Prince William as he enjoyed the men's final between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios.

Some were worried about the youngster hearing some foul language coming from the court as Kyrgios felt the pressure from his opponent, who would go on to take the championship after four sets. But it was the outfit the eight year old was sporting that really got concerns growing, as young George sat looking smart in his suit and tie.

As the UK enjoys a spell of warm weather, temperatures are soaring in south west London where the historical tournament takes place, hitting 30C yesterday.

And royal watchers were not impressed to see the child sitting in the formal wear, just like his dad the Duke of Cambridge, in such heat.

One fan on Twitter said: "Anyone called the NSPCC on Prince William and Kate ? Who makes their child wear a suit and tie in 30+degree heat. Prince George is getting redder and redder in the face. Just cruel."

One added: "Poor Prince George. Trussed up in a suit and tie on the hottest day at Wimbledon. I know he's 3rd in line, but he's a little boy, for crying out loud. A nice, collared cotton tee and a pair of slacks would be much more comfortable, poor kid."

But some fans were in full support of the smart attire.

One said: "For me today is all about Prince George Alexander of Cambridge

"I love that his Parents are easing him into his role, And teaching him to respect the dress code. For the ones complaining about suits, he is the future King of England, not your regular boy. So moving on."
