After an incredibly busy few months of ceremonies and official appearances, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are enjoying the first few days of their summer holidays.
The Prince and Princess of Wales' three children all attend Lambrook School near their home in Windsor and will be packing in as much fun as possible before they head back to the classroom on Wednesday, September 6.
But what will the young royals be getting up to in their time off? Judging by their previous school breaks and revelations by the couple themselves, it seems the family of five will have some exciting plans.
While the public have seen the family several times in recent months, anything the couple have in mind for their children will surely be kept quiet thanks to William and Kate’s dedication to protecting George, Charlotte and Louis' privacy.
It is very likely that the Wales family will opt to spend large amounts of their time at Anmer Hall - their Norfolk home on the Sandringham Estate.
Another likely pastime for the royal trio would be mucking in with the chores. During a visit to a goat farm in Wales last year, the Princess of Wales let slip that Prince George had been responsible for moving animal feed on the estate during a previous half-term break.
After Prince William pointed to a robot silage sweeper, Kate told the farmer: “That was George’s job at half term – moving feed.”
Another possibility is that they will take a short trip away, whether that is in the UK or abroad. One location that the family has returned to time and time again is Tresco Island, in the Isles of Scilly.
The island is the only one of the five islands which is privately owned and is said to boast white sand, turquoise waters, rare birds and lush flora and fauna. It has even been dubbed the ‘Cornish Caribbean’.
During their last visit, fellow holidaymakers described what it was like seeing the royals.
They said: "We hardly noticed at first as they seemed like a normal family on holiday intent on keeping themselves to themselves."
When they are not out adventuring, it is highly likely that Kate will tap into her love of creative activities and do some baking with her three children.
The princess has often spoken about cooking with her children - something they got stuck into ahead of the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year.
In the sweet video shared to social media, they were pictured stirring cake mix and decorating cupcakes before they were served at a street party in Cardiff.
