Prince George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte's week of fun as parents tour the USA

The Royal Children have enjoyed a fun-filled week at school while their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were away on their three-day tour of the US.

Prince William and Princess Kate arrived home on Saturday to their three children, Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince Louis (4), and just hours after touching down in the UK, attended a Christmas fair at the children’s school, Lambrook in Windsor.

But while the senior royals were away, the children enjoyed plenty of fun and games at school, as shown by the Lambrook School Instagram page.

According to the social media page, Princess Charlotte, who is currently in year three, took her hand to bread-making whilst learning about healthy and balanced diets.

A sweet post from Lambrook read: "After learning about different food groups and healthy eating, our Year 3s enjoyed an end-of-topic bread-making and sampling treat this morning. Tomorrow our Year 4s will also learn how to make the National Loaf as part of their History topic on rationing."

Baking is a hobby that Princess Charlotte enjoys at home, with a post on the Cambridge’s Instagram page recently sharing a rare insight into the family’s lives, showing pictures of the Princess baking cakes with the help of her two brothers.

The children at Lambrooks were also able to enjoy a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, performed by the upper-year children.

Another post on the school’s Instagram page read: "What a phantasmagorical time in our theatre last night as our high flying Upper School production of 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' brought the house down - on to the next performance this evening!"

While Kate and William were in the USA for their brief visit, the Royal trio were looked after by their nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion, who has looked after the Cambridge's' children since 2014.
