Prince Andrew’s holiday plans are in ruins as the King has barred him from using Balmoral Castle for his usual two-week break.
The Duke of York used to spend time with his late mother at the estate and would take his daughters and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who is recovering from breast cancer.
But this year it will be open to the public until August 16 and the King is likely to stay at his Balmoral Estate home until the castle closes to tourists.
They quarrelled after Charles, 74, told Andrew, 63, to quit 30-bedroom Windsor Royal Lodge, suggesting he move to nearby four-bedroom Frogmore Cottage – the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan.
