Prince Andrew was not welcomed at the annual Garter Day procession this year meaning he missed out on the historic event for the second year in a row.
The ceremony which took place at Windsor Castle on June 19 brings together the Royal Family, Knights Companions and officers of the Order to celebrate the oldest Order of Chivalry in the country which Andrew has been a member of since 2006.

Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine told GB News this week: “He’s never known anything else except military and royal and he’s not adaptable, he’s not popular, and therefore hasn’t been able to find anything else in his life as far as we know.
“I do feel he’s completely lost and I’m sure he’s probably very, very depressed, especially seeing all his family riding at Trooping on Saturday when only a few years before he was doing the same thing.”
An Express.co.uk poll found that it's unlikely the disgraced Prince, who was forced to step down from his royal duties in 2019 after his car crash interview on BBC Newsnight, will find his way back into royal glory.
The poll which ran from 11am on June 19 to midday on June 22 asked readers: “Is there any way back for Prince Andrew after Garter Day ban?” to which a total of 1,635 readers responded.
Results showed an overwhelming 88 per cent (1,440) of voters answering "no" he cannot make a comeback, 10 per cent (167) voting "yes" and a further 2 per cent (28 people) saying they weren't sure.
Dozens of comments were left as readers debated Andrew's uncertain future in the Royal Family with the predominant argument being that the Duke will not be able to make a respectable comeback to the Firm.
Username 'DeltaLady' wrote that he “most definitely” cannot return to the royal family with username 'UkPatriot' agreeing: “The Royal Family has to have respectability. Andrew has lost any vestige of respectability and would only decrease respect for the Royal Family if he were given approval to officially be part of it.”
This was echoed by username 'alwaysthetruth' who replied: “No, why would anyone want anything to do with him.”
On the other hand, a small minority of readers argued that the Duke of York was being treated unfairly and should be allowed to return to his royal duties as username 'ailsacraig' opined that Andrew is being "overly punished".
Username 'norika' added: “I wish King Charles would show his good sense and pardon his poor brother.”
