Boris Johnson has condemned Vladimir Putin’s decision to recognise the breakaway Ukrainian republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
The Russian President says he is formally recognising two breakaway Ukrainian regions - Luhansk and Donetsk - where Moscow-backed separatists have rebelled against Kyiv rule.
The Prime Minister was considering whether the actions could trigger the imposition of fresh sanctions on Russia.
