Prime Day guitar deals 2026: expert vetted deals from the final day of the Prime Day sale

A pair of Guild electric guitars with a logo that reads 'Prime Day Guitar Deals'.

It's the last day of the Amazon Prime Day sale in 2026, and that means it's your final chance to save big. There are still loads of opportunities for guitarists to cash in, whether you want a brand new guitar or you just want to stock up on fresh guitar strings, but the sale ends at midnight on June 26th, so move quickly if you want to take advantage of the savings.

Ordinarily, I'd tell you to look elsewhere for guitar gear on Amazon, but the past few years have seen sales grow and grow, making it a much better opportunity for guitarists to score a deal than it once was.

That said, while the main Prime Day sale has some pretty great bargains, there's some serious action available for anyone after an electric guitar over at Musician's Friend, where you can bag up to 60% off instruments from Fender, Gibson, Gretsch, Epiphone, and plenty more in this very early 4th of July sale.

For those who prefer a more gentle touch, you can get some sweet savings on acoustic guitars at Guitar Center, with reductions hitting up to 30% off. You can get big money off Martin, Taylor, Yamaha, and other acoustic guitars, but the sale ends on June 24th, so you haven't got too much longer to cash in.

Below, you'll find all the links to Prime Day guitar deals, as well as some handpicked savings from yours truly.

Prime Day guitar deals 2026 FAQ

When is Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day has traditionally always taken place at some point in June, and it's no different this year, with the big event set to run between June 23rd and 26th.

You can keep tabs on all the latest Prime Day news at the Amazon Prime Day page, where the early deals have already started to land. This tallies with our experience, where the deals aren't isolated to just the four days of Prime Day, with many appearing ahead of time, and some sticking around for a few days after the event, too.

When does Prime Day 2026 end?

Prime Day officially ends at midnight on June 26th. But that doesn't mean there aren't still deals to be picked up after that time. Many Prime Day deals will hang around for a little bit after the end of the official sale, so if you're late to the party, you might still be able to grab hold of that discount.

Do I need a Prime subscription for Prime Day?

If you want to take advantage of Amazon’s Prime Day guitar deals the answer is a big fat yes. Amazon always offers free trials to those who haven't used the service before, so if you were feeling tactical you could sign up for a free trial closer to the event, grab the most enticing bargains and then cancel your subscription once the items are in your hands, but we didn’t tell you to do that...

There are plenty of perks to being an Amazon Prime Member, of course, including faster delivery options, exclusive deals and access to Prime Music and Prime Video, so it could be worth becoming a fully paid up member if you're a regular Amazon shopper.

At the time of writing, a monthly Amazon Prime subscription costs $14.99/£7.99 (which you can cancel at any time) and a yearly option is $139/£79.

There's also a student tier available that currently costs $7.49/£3.99 per month or $69/£39 per year.

Where can I find the best non-Amazon guitar deals?

In 2024 and 2025, in addition to Amazon, there were great guitar discounts doing the rounds from Fender Musician’s Friend and Guitar Center, plus Walmart and Best Buy on everything from beginner acoustic guitars to reverb pedals. We’re hoping for more guitar activity from retailers, including Sweetwater in 2026. We heard whispers of some great guitar offers on the horizon, so watch this space.

Although it’s an Amazon invention, Prime Day has always created a buzz and gets people in the mood for a bargain. Because of this, we’re confident more retailers will get involved with great Prime Day guitar deals this year.

Last year, we also saw certain retailers offer discount codes of up to 20% on a whole range of great guitar gear.

Are things really cheaper on Prime Day?

Short answer, yes they are. Every Prime Day deal you see on this page will be a legit discount, as it's been personally checked by one of our team. We often price-check our deals on competitor sites too so you get a true picture of the actual savings you're making.
