Primark has released a new product which is extremely similar to a high end beauty company but for a fraction of the price.
The Primark Instant Bronzing Drops are said to be a ‘dupe’ of the Drunk Elephant Creme D-Bronzi Sunshine Drops. Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high end products for much less.
The Tanning Drops were shared to @dupeshopbeauty‘s 261k Instagram followers and has racked up thousands of likes. The account shares its findings of different dupe items within the beauty industry.

The Instagram post shows the two products side by side on the first image followed by a comparison explanation of the two products on the second image. It was captioned: “Can you believe it?! Tag your friends who need to know about these this summer”.
Dupeshopbeauty explained that the two products give the same ‘overall healthy glow and bronzing effect’ while both having a ‘similar texture and consistency which melts into the skin’. However, the Primark Bronzing drops are’ slightly more pigmented so less product is needed’.
The product Primark description read: “Designed to transform your skin with a seamless, natural looking golden glow, these drops are formulated with a watery consistency that aids their ability to be blended with ease. Shake well and apply one or two drops to the skin for an uplifting effect or add a couple of drops to your favourite moisturiser or foundation.
“Alongside enjoying a radiant glow, you’re able to reap the skin care benefits of hyaluronic acid, marula oil, black currant oil and Vitamin E, all of which help to impart hydration into the skin for a nourishing effect.
The Primark Instant Bronzing Drops would cost you £3 whereas the Drunk Elephant Creme D-Bronzi Sunshine Drops would set you back £31. This means you would save £28 if you opted for the Primark dupe.
Shoppers were left astonished by the recent dupe finding as one said: “I just had a wow moment... So glad I found you”, while another added: “Another great dupe thanks x”. A third commented: “No way!! These are going to be impossible to get hold off. Just like Drunk Elephant!!!”
While Primark doesn't offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they're in stock before heading into stores to purchase them. You can see the Drunk Elephant Creme D-Bronzi Sunshine Drops here.
