If you're looking for some good quality designer 'dupes' that won't break the bank, then everyone knows Primark usually hits the right spot.
But it looks like they have missed the mark this time round, as shoppers have slammed a pair of their own footwear as the "ugliest shoes ever".
The budget high-street fashion chain is selling its own version of one of the most controversial pair of shoes currently on the market - the funky Crocs Clogs.
And while the hotly debated shoes will set you back around £40, Primark's own eccentric sandals are priced at the rather reasonable £4 a pair.
The Manchester Evening News reports the drama surrounding the shoes unfolded online after one shopper shared a snap to Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook. The post has since racked up over 6,000 comments from shoppers who are extremely divided on the shoes.
Some people loved them, with Shirley Medd saying: "These are brilliant to slip on when your nipping to hang the washing out." Spamm Ellward added: "I’ve walked miles in these on my holiday what a bargain they was."
Carla Cass said: "Crocs are THE best. ( these are my newest addition) ..I love them .. crocs and socks for the win." Sophie Dooley said: "I got these and I love them."
Other shoppers weren't so convinced. And they did not hold back.
Sharon Brannigan wrote: "Never ever ever will I put these on my feet ,, nooooo way." Suz Hufton-Milnes blasted: "Ask yourself why they are £4. They are the ugliest shoes ever."
Tina Richardson said: "Working in these are one thing .... but to wear for fashion........ ehhh no. However, they are also great to wear when cutting the grass.... just rinse clean."
Wendy Mcgurty said: "Great for gardening.. Nothing else." Sammie Hutchinson criticised: "Wouldn’t take a pair if they were free."
Michelle Collins Williams commented: "Set them on fire." Kate Moscrop said: "They could be free and I’d still leave them in the store."
Primark has been approached for comment.
Primark's £4 sling black clogs are available in multiple different colours and are in stores now.
