Primark shoppers say £19 jeans remind them of popular early 00s cartoon characters

High-street retailer Primark has launched a brand new pair of vibrant jeans which are giving early 00s kids a hit of nostalgia.

The budget fashion chain has become well known for stocking merchandise from some of our favourite franchises growing up - including Disney, Harry Potter and The Powerpuff Girls.

And now shoppers are getting serious The Fairly Odd Parents vibes, thanks to a pair of jeans that share the same vibrant colours as two of the main characters.

The hit 00s animated cartoon followed the adventurous life of a young boy, Timmy Turner, and his two rather odd fairy godparents. Quite frankly, it was a staple show for all us older millennials.

Primark took to Instagram to share a snap of their new utility style jeans that are being sold in both a vibrant green and pink colour.

And if you got the Cosmo and Wanda vibes, then you wouldn't be the only one.

The retailer captioned the snap: " The utility trend is here to stay! Jeans £19/€21/$24 & Skirts £15/€17/$20 landing in store very soon #Primark #TrendingNow."

The fashionable snap has managed to rack up a whopping 13.2k likes and hundreds of comments from shoppers who believed they had transformed the animated fairy godparents into trousers.

"Cosmo and Wanda feels", commented one shopper.

"The 00s called", said a second.

"COSMO & WANDA", replied a third.

While multiple other shoppers all mentioned the similarities between the odd fairy godparents and the jeans, there were many who couldn't wait to get their hands on them.

"Omg I need to get to Primark asap!!!", said one enthusiastic shopper.

"Yes.....I'm here for it these are cute!", agreed a second.

"Need need need!!! X", said a third.

Primark's £19 utility style jeans will be available in stores soon.
