As the UK basks in high temperatures and wall to wall sunshine, out come the shorts, summer dresses and strappy sandals and shoes. Primark shoppers have been going crazy for one summer essential.
The £14 tie-up block heel sandal has even made one shopper claim to be "green with envy". The fan made the comment after seeing an Instagram post.
The budget fashion retailer highlighted the heels on social media just a day ago. It has already received nearly 9k likes. Primark wrote: "We'll be wearing these every day for the foreseeable. Lace Up Heels £14/€18/$20 #Primark #TrendingNow"

The green tie-ups come in various alternative colours including gold, hot pink and white. Primark call them "Your new shoe staple". The fashion retailer said: "Sick of spending your nights out in a pair of killer heels with excruciating pain to match? It’s time to step up your shoe game with this season’s shoe saviour the tie-up, block heel sandal."
Offering fashion advice, the store said: "Team them with dresses, skirts, shorts, wide-leg trousers, and jeans – they're so versatile and work with anything in your wardrobe."
Fans of the brand were quick to jump in with their thoughts on the footwear. One person admitted: "I have every colour". Another said: "How cute are these", while a third, tagging in a friend, said: "We need these!!!"
Another shopper added: "Love this green", while a different colour appealed to others. "Nice in a pink," said another.
