The Primark Curling Wand is being compared to luxury hair brand Beauty Works - but for a fraction of the price.
Primark shopper kourtneychanelx has taken to TikTok to let people know Primark’s dupe of the Beauty Works Professional Styler is in stores. Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less.
The user shared a video of her in a Primark store walking over to the beauty section, picking up the Primark Curling Wand and placing it in her basket. The video was captioned: “Run, don't walk to Primark and save them coins sis! [money with wings emoji]”. The video currently has 13,000 views on TikTok.

The two curling wands looks extremely similar, with only a few small differences setting them apart. The Primark dupe has an on/off switch with a temperature control button, while the Beauty Works Professional Styler has screen showing the chosen temperature. The two wands have almost exactly the same barrel to curl your hair with, in a similar gold colour.
While Primark doesn’t offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products before heading into stores to purchase them.
The Primark Wand is being sold in shops for £16 but the Beauty Works Professional Styler is being sold for £70 on the Beauty Works website, though there is 15% off Beauty Works currently with the code BLUEMONDAY. You can buy the Beauty Works Professional Styler here.
