Primark is renowned for its bargain beautiful clothing and accessories. The store is also very popular for its dupe' range, and one its latest bags has been catching shoppers' eyes.
The chain's quilted grab item looks remarkably like one of Bottega Veneta’s popular designs. Savvy shoppers can save a mini fortune if they purchase Primark's version, which costs just £11 compared to the designer's £1,880.
The bargain chain describes its dupe bag on its website as being: “Not too big to overshadow your outfit, and not too small to go unnoticed, a grab bag is an accessory you can never fault.” Much like the designer version, the quilted grab bag is a small rounded shoulder bag that sits close to the shoulder - a perfect accessory for a summer dress.

As with any other dupe Primark have released, there are some slight differences. The Bottega Jodie bag has a woven effect, with different layers of leather wrapping over each other to create a quirky and beautiful design. While Primark's accessory is as the name says, quilted, so just one continuous layer of fabric with stitching to give it its quilted look.
Primark’s website says: “With an intricate quilted design, this grab bag is perfect for bringing some unique texture to your look - wear with a ruffled blouse or dress for a mix of prettily designed fabrics.”
The Primark dupe also has the option of wearing the bag across the body, with the addition of a long strap, whereas the designer bag does not - a nice extra for those who like to change the style up.
Now when it comes to colours of bags some people prefer to stay with the more common black, brown or white colours. The Bottega Jodie has 23 colours for customers to choose from, ranging from green to red and the more traditional white or brown. While Primark has options for their shoppers, it’s not quite as wide as the designer brand, with just blue and white on offer.
Primark also confirmed that Bristol's store will soon have its own Greggs cafe. Visitors can expect a ‘Tasty by Greggs’ style interior with doughnut-inspired seating booths, a Sausage Roll swing, and interactive Greggs phone box.
Earlier this week Bristol Live noticed the area where Costa used to live in Primark, as well as part of the bags section was boarded up, and now we know why.
A spokesperson for Primark said: “Our fourth Tasty by Greggs café will be opening this year in Primark Bristol. The new café will be on the 1st floor of the store and will replace the previous space occupied by Costa Coffee.”
