Retail chain Primark has unveiled its latest set of items that have already garnered the attention of fashion lovers, looking to be cosy yet chic at the same time. The budget-friendly retailer posted a photo on its official Instagram page, displaying a range of bright coloured chunky knit sweaters in several patterns.
The picture was posted alongside the caption: “Chunky knit season has arrived. Prices from £14/€16/$18” Many users headed to the comments section to show their admiration for the pieces.
One user wrote: “Bit of Harry Styles’ style”, while another added: “Love those 70s liquorice all sorts looking tank tops.”

A third commenter also made a reference to the famed liquorice confectionery by writing: “Liquorice allsorts springs to mind.” A fourth even joked: “Thought the pink jumper looks like Bertie's Bassetts sweeties”
Meanwhile, other Primark followers already debated between themselves which piece was their favourite.

In other Primark related news, the discount retailer has ruled out further prices increases in light of the cost of living crisis. In a bid to protect consumer spending power, Primark’s parent firm Associated British Foods (ABF) has announced that it will be limiting further price hikes that have been affected by increasing energy costs.
As reported by Sky News , ABF have stated that the energy bills, coupled with the weak pound and euro relative to the dollar and its decision to limit further price increases, can ultimately hurt Primark and its margins the following year.
ABF is anticipating Primark's profit margin for next year to be lower than the operating profit margin of 8.0% that was calculated for the second half of the current financial year, which ended on September 17.
As part of ABF's statement, it wrote: “Against this current volatile backdrop and a context of likely much reduced disposable consumer income, we have decided not to implement further price increases next year beyond those already actioned and planned.
"We believe this decision is in the best interests of Primark and supports our core proposition of everyday affordability and price leadership."
